チューリッヒ市内を観光。


Walked in Zurich.

チューリッヒ市内には3つの大きな教会があり、そのうち「グロスミュンスター／大聖堂」にはジャコメッティのステンドグラスがあり、


In Zurich there are three big churches. Among these, "Grossmuenster" has stained glasses designed by Augusto Giacometti and  

川向かいに建つ「フラウミュンスター／聖母聖堂」にはシャールがデザインしたステンドグラスがある。

Fraumuenster, which stands on the other side of the river, has one by Marc Chagall.

ETHのキャンパスも見学。カラトラバの図書館は撮影出来ず。


Went to ETH campus but couldn't take any pictures of a library designed by Calatrava.

もうひとつのカラトラバ作品、「シュターデルホーフェン駅」(1990）。
地上部の鉄骨による軽やかな造形と地下部のコンクリートによる重厚な雰囲気が対照的。


The other his work in Zurich, "Stadelhofen Station" (Santiago Calatrava, 1990).

チューリッヒ湖沿いを歩いて「コルビュジエセンター」へと向かう。
空も水も奇麗。


Walked along the Zurichsee to "Centre Le Corbusier".
Both sky and water were beautiful.

「コルビュジエセンター」は5月から10月までしか開いていないけれど、外観だけでも大きな収穫。

"Centre Le Corbusier" (Le Corbusier, 1967) is open from may to October, but I could be satisfied with seeing just an outlook.
