明日が祝日なので学校も休み。そうとは知らずに作業をしに行ってしまった、、。
仕方がないので市内を散歩。会社や学校はどこも休みなのか、多くのカフェが昼間から賑わっている。
最近はまた気温が上がって日中は17、8℃あって日も射すので暖かい。
夜は以前失敗した（気付いたら賞味期限が切れていた、、。）ムール貝のワイン蒸しに挑戦。
といっても野菜とムール貝とワインで蒸すだけ。
でもやっぱりお店で食べた方がおいしいな。


Because tomorrow is holiday, our school is closed today. But I hadn't know and went to the school to work...
Then I strolled through the streets. Many companies and schools maybe holiday, cafes were so busy in spite of early afternoon.
These days temperature  rose to 17 or 18 degrees and sun is shining. It is very warm.
Tonight I revenge a mussel (expiration date was ended last day...).
What I should do is only to steam vegetables and mussels with a white wine.
But one of restaurant is better than mine.

今日の未明にサマータイムが終わり、時間が1時間遅れる。
どうせなら時間が戻る瞬間を見ておけば良かった。
教会の時計のようなアナログ時計もきちんと予定の時刻に遅らせたのかな。
サマータイムが終わったおかげで少し長く休日を過ごせた。


Before dawn today the summer time ended and time went back one hour.
This is a rare opportunity, so I should have seen a moment time went back.
Did an analog watch such as a one of a church on time schedule?
Thanks to the end, I could spend a holiday slightly longer.

一日市内をぶらぶら。
それと今更ながら部屋で料理をしようと調理器具を買い足す。共用キッチンが暗くて汚く、おまけに3階分上り下りが大変なので、、。


Walked around the city all day.
And, at this late day, I bought additional cookwares in order to cook in my room. Because a common  kitchen is too dark and dirty and it is hard to up and down for three floors...

ムール貝とケバブ以外に新しくお店を探そうと日本人3人で探しに出るも、結局ムール貝に落ち着いた、、。
グランプラスのすぐ脇にあるレストラン通りは「ぼったくり通り」と呼ばれる程観光客相手のレストランが軒を連ねている。その中で一切客引きをしていないのにいつも大勢のお客さんで賑わっているのが、1893年創業ムール貝専門店の『レオン』本店。パリにもたくさん支店があるそう。


その後はハロウィーンパーティーへ。しかし23時スタートって、、。明日は8時半からプレゼンなのに、、。


We three Japanese went to search for something to eat except a mussel and kebab, but finally we decided mussels...
The restaurant street near by Grand-Place is called 'a rip-off street', and there are many restaurant to tourists. On that street, in spite of no barker, there is a restaurant full of people. It is the head of "Chez Leon", starts from 1893 and specializes in mussels. In France, there are many branch, too.


After that we will go to a Halloween Party. But it starts from 23pm... I have to make presentation 8:30am tomorrow...

今日は授業の一環でSint-Guidoという街へ行ってきました。
雰囲気の良い街です。
こういう街はさっといってさっと帰るのではなく、しばらく滞在してみないと本当の良さはわからなそう。


そして今まで気にも留めていなかったけど、ヨーロッパでは駅前にロータリーがない？
車が登場する前に街の骨格が決められたからなのかな？


夜は友人宅で寿司が食べれるという事で行ってきました。
そこに居たベルギー人が世界でおいしい料理はフランス料理と和食で、フランス料理は食材を組み合わせて新しい味をつくり出そうとするのに対して和食は素材そのものの味を追求する、好対照で面白いと言っていた。
日本人は八百万の神という考え方があり、それが素材を尊重することにつながっているのではないかと話をした。


Today I visit Sint-Guido in a class.
Good mood town.
To know about such a town, I shouldn't go and back quickly but stay for a week or month.


I haven't paid attention to, in Europe are there no rotary in front of a station?
Is it because main structure of a town had been made before car became popular?


On night I went to my friend's room to eat Sushi.
Belgian who came too said "French food and Japanese food are the most delicious food all over the world. But they make good contrast; French like to make new taste by putting material together, but Japanese pursuit of original taste of material. It is interesting."
I told him it is because that Japanese are used to animism and it leads us to respect material.

シャワーからお湯が出ない、、。


2学期にインターンに行こうかどうか迷う。
海外では長期間(3ヶ月ほど)拘束されるそうなので、強い動機を持って望まない限り古今東西の建築を見て回った方がためになりそう。


I can't use shower with hot water...


I am at a loss whether to do internship or not on the 2nd semester.
In Europe, we have to go for a long time, about 3 months. Then it is better to see architectures of all ages and countries than to do it, if I have strong motivation.

今日は3回もみそ汁を食べてしまった。和食が恋しい、、というかおいしいご飯を食べたい、、。
おじいちゃんおばあちゃんの送ってくれた羊羹にも手を伸ばす。


ブランド物の服屋が並んでいる通りを発見。
コムデギャルソンを扱っているお店もあって、日本のブランドが並んでいるのを見ると嬉しくなったけど、どうやらベルギーの人にはフランスのブランドだと思われているらしい、、。


日本話続きですが、11月に坂本龍一がブリュッセルに来るとの事なのでチケットを買った。1等席は売り切れていたけれど2等席で26ユーロ。安いな、、。とても楽しみ。


Today I ate miso-soup three times. I miss Japanese food... Moreover I want to eat good meal...
I ate also Yokan my grand-parents sent me.


I found a street where are designer's bland shops.
There is also a shop deal with COMME des GARÇONS and I was happy to see a Japanese bland in foreign country. But I heard people in Belgium think it as French bland...


This is about Japan again, Ryuichi Sakamoto will come to Brussels on November. So I bought a ticket. 1st class seats were sold out but I could buy a 2nd class seat for only 26 euro. So cheap... Looking forward to it.

昨日のblogに載せたタンタンの大きな看板、22日に何かありそうなことが書かれていたので行ってみると映画館の前にはすごい人だかり。
なんとタンタンの映画を監督しているスティーブン・スピルバーグを招いてのプレミア上映会だそうです、、。
という情報も帰宅してからネットで知ったので、もしあそこで粘っていたらスピルバーグを見れたかも、、。
それと昨日は物理学者のスティーブン・ホーキングを見かけました。来週の火曜日に講演会が予定されているようなので早めにブリュッセル入りしていたのかな？


The big billboard of Tintin, which I put on this blog yesterday, shows something happens on 22nd. Then I went and saw a crowd in front of a movie theater.
To be surprised, it was the world premier and Steven Spielberg, who is the director of new movie of Tintin, was invited...
This information I got after going back, so if I waited there I might see him...
And yesterday I saw Stephen Hawking, a physicist. I hear that next Tuesday he will lecture. Did he arrived in Brussels earlier?

おじいちゃんおばあちゃんから日本食が届いたので、さっそくラーメンを食べてみた。
日本のインスタント食品のおいしさはこちらに来てから痛感している。


My grand father and mother sent me many Japanese foods, then I tried Ramen.
It strikes me how good Japanese instant meals taste after coming to Europe.

パリ3日目。今日はジュンク堂、無印、そして隈さんの講演会と日本に触れる機会が多かったです。
わずか3日間の滞在だったけれど、自分の好きな様に時間を使えて満喫できました。


The third day in Paris. I can feel Japanese cultures; JUNKUDO, MUJI and lecture of Kengo Kuma.
It was only three days stay, but I could enjoy by using time as I want.
