「ル・ランシーの教会」(オーギュスト・ペレ、1923)を見に行く。
Le Raincy Villemomble Montferm駅を降りると、遠くにその姿が望める。
訪れた時に葬儀が行なわれていたのだが、後ろの隅の方に座らせてもらえるという貴重な体験をさせていただく。
Came to Paris.
Went to "the Church of Notre Dame du Raincy" (Auguste Perret, 1923).
I could see it from Le Raincy Villemomble Montferm station.
When I visited a funeral was held, but they permitted me to sit on the back-corner. It was rare opportunity.
ペレによるRC造による記念碑的建築の最初の試みであり、その後長い間教会建築のひな形ともなった作品。
28本の柱が荷重を支え、構造的役割から解放された壁にはステンドグラスがはめ込まれたクロストラが積み重ねられている。
通常の3分の1程度の予算、および住人のボランティアも行なわれた施行は見た目には荒々しく、置いてある家具も簡素であるけれども、それによって色とりどりの光によって満たされた空間が際立っている。
28 columns, which support load, make walls free from construction roll and walls are composed by claustra, which have stained glass.
Its construction works are rough because the budget was about one third of an average. And furnitures are so simple.
But they exaggerate space filled by colorful light.
夜は中華街へ餃子を食べに。
Ate gyoza in a China town for dinner.
