デザインスタジオの課題のために街を歩き回る。古本屋や人形屋、家具屋など小さいけど面白いお店がたくさんあった。
驚いたのは本屋に日本の漫画がたくさん並んでいること。ONE PIECEやNARUTOを始めとした現在連載中の漫画から手塚治虫の様な古典まで豊富な品揃え。本屋の一角は日本の漫画で占められている。
日本の食材も問題なく手に入る。
ただ、日本語に触れる機会は皆無。おろか英語すらあまり見かけない。授業が英語だからといって仏語・蘭語を学んでこなかったことがチクチク響いてくる。


I walked around the city for design-studio. I could find small but interesting shops; secondhand bookstores, doll shops and furniture shops.
It surprised me that there are so many Japanese MANGA in book stores. Not only "ONE PIECE", "NARUTO" and other MANGA now appearing serially, but also classic like Osamu TEDUKA. Very various. One space of a book store is for Japanese MANGA.
And I can get Japanese ingredients.
But I cannot find Japanese language at all. English, too. It affects me badly that I didn't learn French and Dutch because classes are held in English.
