今日は一日パリを観光。


I walked around Paris whole day.

グランダルシュ(新凱旋門)
Grande Arche

グランダルシュのあるラ・デファンスには様々な高層ビルが建っています
in La Défense, where Grand Arche is in, there are various skyscrapers.

メリーゴーランドもあります
there is a merry-go-round, too

DAY 043

ブリュッセルから特急電車に乗ってパリへ。1時間半くらい。


I came to Paris by a rapid train from Brussels. It takes about 1 and a half hour.

DAY 042

ブリュッセルの南の方にはグラフィティもたくさん描かれています。
明日朝から月曜夜までパリ。楽しみ。


In the south part of Brussels we can find much graffiti-art.
From tomorrow morning to Monday night I am going to Paris. I am looking forward to go.

DAY 041

デザインスタジオの課題のために街を歩き回る。古本屋や人形屋、家具屋など小さいけど面白いお店がたくさんあった。
驚いたのは本屋に日本の漫画がたくさん並んでいること。ONE PIECEやNARUTOを始めとした現在連載中の漫画から手塚治虫の様な古典まで豊富な品揃え。本屋の一角は日本の漫画で占められている。
日本の食材も問題なく手に入る。
ただ、日本語に触れる機会は皆無。おろか英語すらあまり見かけない。授業が英語だからといって仏語・蘭語を学んでこなかったことがチクチク響いてくる。


I walked around the city for design-studio. I could find small but interesting shops; secondhand bookstores, doll shops and furniture shops.
It surprised me that there are so many Japanese MANGA in book stores. Not only "ONE PIECE", "NARUTO" and other MANGA now appearing serially, but also classic like Osamu TEDUKA. Very various. One space of a book store is for Japanese MANGA.
And I can get Japanese ingredients.
But I cannot find Japanese language at all. English, too. It affects me badly that I didn't learn French and Dutch because classes are held in English.

いとこに赤ちゃんが生まれて、ついにおじさんになってしまった、、。
とっても可愛らしい。


My cousin had a baby, then I became uncle...
He is so cute.

DAY 039

今日はデザイン・スタジオの日。英語での議論が出来ないととりあえずやっちゃえって勢いで意外と進む。
日本でのようにうねうね言葉をこねくり回して形にならないより良いかもしれない。
午後からは市内の映像センターへ。都市を対象とした映像作品をいくつか見る。


Today is design-studio day. It is very hard to debate in English, but I can go ahead by doing recklessly.
It may be better than the case in Japan that I cannot make things but only argue.
Afternoon we go to the movie center. We saw some movie concerning a city.

DAY 038

自分で作るのが億劫なので最近1日2食生活が続いていたけれど、今日は夜遅くまで明日のスタジオの準備していたおかげで夕飯を食べ損ねた。


These days  I eat only two times in a day, because it annoys me to cook by myself. But today, I missed dinner for preparing tomorrow studio to late.
